Archive contents
The graphics driver archive for QNX4 contains (under patches/QNX425-0716):
- /qnx4/graphics/drivers/Pg.i810
- /qnx4/graphics/drivers/Pg.i830
- /qnx4/graphics/drivers/Pg.lx800
- /qnx4/graphics/drivers/Pg.radeon
- /qnx4/graphics/trappers/crttrap.list
- /qnx4/graphics/trappers/Pg.lx800 (a symbolic link to /qnx4/graphics/drivers/Pg.lx800)
The changes included in this archive are as follows:
| File | Description |
|---|---|
| Pg.i810 | This driver is updated to allow you to specify a setting to the FW_BLC registers through the environment variable FW_BLC. This allows you to adjust the display FIFO watermarks to reduce or eliminate flicker on some systems. (PR# 44629)
If the environment variable is not specified, the driver uses default values. |
| Pg.i830 | This driver is updated to fix:
* the hardware cursor was not showing up with Intel 945G (PR# 29646) * pll setting issue caused graphics not to display intermittently on 945G (PR# 41055) |
| Pg.lx800 | New graphics driver to support the AMD Geode LX800. |
| Pg.radeon | Driver updated to fix a ring buffer lockup (PR# 39098) |
| crttrap.list | Entry added for AMD Geode LX800. |
Known issues
- If using the Pg.lx800 driver, when exitting Photon and returning to textmode the display will be shifted a number of pixels to the left.
Workaround: to center the text display properly, run the following command:/qnx4/graphics/drivers/vesabios.ms -r -i3 -cnone -nnone - The 1152x864 resolution does not work on devg-lx800.so. If you attempt to use this resolution, the screen remains black and the system locks up. (PR 49931)
Workaround: run the system at a resolution other than 1152x864.
Online documentation
These QNX4 graphics drivers don't have online documentation. However, you will find their latest options and supported chipsets in their respective use messages.
For example:
# use Pg.radeon
